GST registration query or rejection in Delhi?

Many applications in Delhi get a REG-03 query or a REG-05 rejection over small gaps in documents. Some applicants are also asked to complete biometric Aadhaar verification at a GST Suvidha Kendra (GSK). We resolve it for businesses across Delhi — online, without you visiting the GST department.

What this means

After REG-01 is filed, an officer can ask for clarification or documents in REG-03. You reply in REG-04 within 7 working days. If the reply is not satisfactory, the application is rejected in REG-05. Applicants flagged by the system can be asked to book an appointment at a GST Suvidha Kendra (GSK) for biometric Aadhaar authentication and document verification.

Common reasons businesses in Delhi get this

  • Address proof that does not match the business name or address
  • Rent agreement or NOC unsigned, unstamped or incomplete
  • Photo of the premises without signage
  • Wrong business activity or HSN codes
  • Reply to REG-03 not filed within 7 working days

Deadlines

  • REG-04 reply to a REG-03 query: within 7 working days
  • Biometric appointment at the GSK: as per the slot booked from the link sent after REG-01
  • After REG-05 rejection: fix the documents and re-apply, or appeal

How we resolve it — without you visiting the department

  • We read the exact query and fix each document
  • We file the REG-04 reply online within the window
  • If biometric verification is required, we book the GSK slot and prepare your file so one visit is enough
  • After a rejection, we correct the cause and file a clean fresh application
  • We track the application until the GSTIN is issued

You never have to

  • Stand in a queue at the ward or circle office
  • Meet the officer yourself or attend the hearing
  • Draft legal replies or work through portal forms
  • Chase the department for an update — we follow up in writing and keep you posted

Note: biometric Aadhaar verification at a GST Suvidha Kendra is the one step the law requires the applicant to complete in person. Everything else, we handle online.

Delhi: the Department of Trade and Taxes holds personal hearings in virtual mode, so hearings can be attended online by your authorised representative.

What to send us (on WhatsApp or email)

  • REG-03 or REG-05 copy
  • PAN, Aadhaar and photo of the authorised signatory
  • Address proof, rent agreement and NOC
  • Premises photos with signage

What happens if you ignore it

An unanswered REG-03 leads to rejection, and repeated rejections make later applications harder.

Everything we do is through lawful, documented channels — replies on the portal, hearings and written submissions on record. A strong, documented reply is what closes matters quickly.

Questions

Registration query / rejected in Delhi — FAQs

What is a REG-03 notice?+
REG-03 is a query on your GST registration application asking for clarification or documents. You must reply in REG-04 within 7 working days, or the application can be rejected in REG-05.
Do I need to visit the GST office?+
For queries and rejections, no - replies are online. The only exception is biometric Aadhaar verification at a GST Suvidha Kendra, which the applicant must attend in person if the system asks for it. We book the slot and prepare your documents so one short visit is enough.
My application was rejected. Can I apply again?+
Yes. We find the exact reason for the rejection, fix the documents and file a fresh application.
Do I need to visit the GST department at all?+
In most cases, no. We reply online, attend hearings as your authorised representative under Section 116 of the CGST Act, and follow up in writing. You share documents on WhatsApp or email and approve every reply before it is filed.
